Terri WellerTerri Weller MS, RN

Principal & Chief Nursing Officer

Most of Terri’s 37-year career as a nurse has been as a baccalaureate nursing educator. She has taught over a thousand nursing students, many of who today serve as leaders within the profession. Terri has held faculty appointments as an Assistant Professor at Towson University, College of Notre Dame of Maryland, and Stevenson University, formerly Villa Julie College. Originally a diploma program graduate of St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing, Terri continued her education and earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Maryland. In 1995, she was the recipient of the Villa Julie College Nursing Faculty Member of the Year Award. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the National Honor Society of Nursing.

As a second career, nurse entrepreneur, Terri embraced the challenges inherent in the health care staffing industry. She partnered with Jeff McClure in 2001 to open a staffing agency in which she was dedicated to raising the bar of quality for “agency” nurses. In June 2002, she resigned from Oldfields School where she had been Director of Health Services to dedicate her full time efforts to start-up challenges of a staffing agency. From the very beginning, Terri has been committed to excellence, seeking the very best nurses and allied health professionals to serve the patients assigned to their care.

Terri has been a member of the Woman’s Club of Roland Park, the Junior League of Baltimore, and a former Board Member of the Stoneleigh Community Association. She is a graduate of the 2006 Baltimore County Leadership Class. She is an active member of Maryland Organization of Nurse Executives participating on the Program Planning Committee for 2006-2009. Terri is a member of the Maryland Nursing Workforce Commission with a current position on the Recruitment Committee. She has remained active in clinical practice in her area of expertise as an emergency room nurse.
