Contracts Manager

Originally from Forest Hill, Maryland, David moved to Baltimore in 2002 to pursue a bachelors degree at Towson University. He achieved a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Management in 2006. David utilized a 7-year career in the food service industry to hone his sales and customer service skills prior to joining Chesapeake Medical Staffing in January 2007 as a scheduling coordinator. After his first year, he was promoted to Contract Specialist, narrowing his focus on long-term assignment placements and client development. In January of 2008, David was again promoted to Contracts Manager, where he now serves in a leadership role for the CMS Business Development Team.

David loves living in Baltimore and the city life that accompanies it. His proximity to the downtown hospitals allows him to frequently visit clients and clinicians alike during their assignments at these hospitals. He believes in meeting regularly with each of his clients and associates in their clinical setting to maintain a clear understanding of their satisfaction with CMS.

While not working, David enjoys spending his time playing sports (football and wiffleball are his favorites) and playing with the household puppy, Flacco. If not playing himself, he can regularly be found at the stadiums downtown supporting the Orioles and Ravens during their respective seasons. David is also a poker enthusiast and a music lover of just about every genre (other than country). He hopes to one day be able to play the piano and trumpet proficiently again after his hiatus that followed over ten years of lessons in each.
