Cyndi RossCyndi Ross BSN, RN

Nursing Consultant

Cyndi is originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota and lived in many different cities as a child. She moved to Baltimore with her family during her high school years. She relocated to Florida in 1973 where she began her college career.

In addition to her career in nursing, Cyndi’s work history also includes experience as a aerial photographer in Fort Lauderdale. She flew from a Hughes 500 helicopter and photographed the building progress of hotels and businesses from ground breaking to completion. While she worked in Broward County, she supported an 80% increase in sales in less than a year.

Cyndi moved back to Baltimore in 1986 and now calls the city her home. She was a foster parent for 10 years for special needs children. Recognizing her affinity for caring for others, Cyndi pursued a degree in nursing and graduated with honors from Villa Julie College in 1994, the same year her daughter graduated from high school. She began her career in medical-surgical nursing at Union Memorial Hospital, but quickly advanced to emergency nursing. She has practiced as an agency nurse for most of her emergency nursing career. She is an avid supporter and strong ambassador for Chesapeake Medical Staffing where she is currently serving in a consultant role.

Cyndi is currently employed at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center as the Nurse Manager of the Express Admissions Unit (EAU). She resides in Lake Walker with her cat, Junipurr. She dedicates endless energy to the youth program at her church. In her spare time, Cyndi enjoys home restoration (her own), painting, sewing, traveling and reading.
