Competitive Pay Rates

CMS offers the highest per diem, contract, and travel pay rates in the Baltimore metropolitan area. In addition, overtime is paid for any clinical hours worked over 40 hours within a pay period. We also offer annual loyalty incentives to our clinicians - for every 2,000 hours you work, you will be able to choose from one of several options, including a base pay increase of $1/hour.

Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Prescription Coverage

CMS offers our full-time and part-time associates (17.5 + hours/week) and their dependents comprehensive group medical, dental, vision, and prescription insurance. Coverage is provided through CareFirst with a choice of three medical plan options.  All premiums are payroll deducted weekly on a pre-tax basis.

Disability and Term Life Insurance

Short-term and long-term disability insurance and term life insurance are available to full-time associates who work 30 + hours/week. These plans are administered by Principal Life Insurance Company.

401(k) Retirement Savings Plan

All CMS associates are eligible to enroll in our 401(k) plan upon hire.  We offer a broad variety of investment options through Garrison Financial and Great West Retirement Services, some of the leading financial services institutions in this area.  Also, one of the many features of our 401(k) plan is direct access to a financial advisor at Garrison who will help you develop a customized investment program that will best meet your needs.

Professional Liability and Workers’ Compensation Insurance

CMS offers professional liability and workers’ compensation insurance to associates working on all per diem and contract assignments with us.  You can rest assured that, while you are employed by CMS, you will be provided with these important benefits at no additional cost to you. 

Continuing Education Benefits

CPR, ACLS and PALS courses are offered regularly to all CMS associates. Please visit our Training & Education page for more details.

PPD

Annual PPD screening is available to all CMS associates for $10 under the direction of our Medical Director, Dr. Gunta Wheeler.
