CMS Expands to DC Hospitals

Chesapeake Medical Staffing is officially in the Washington, DC market! We have many contracts available for Registered Nurses, especially in critical care areas such as ICU and PICU. We will reimburse the cost of DC licensure to any nurse who takes a contract or works over 100 hours in DC. Pay rates are $1 higher in the DC hospitals. Certain specialty contracts also have $1,500 completion bonuses included!

Nacho Ordinary Holiday Gala

CMS proudly presented Health Care for the Homeless with more than $10,000 on December 12, 2009 at the annual “Nacho Ordinary Holiday Gala.” More than 200 CMS associates, hospital clients and friends danced the night away at the Little Havana Restaurante. Nearly 80 CMS clients, office staff, associates and their families enjoyed our annual warm weather trip to tropical Ambergris Caye in Belize in early November ’09.

Huge Turnout for CMS Crab Feast!

CMS clients, associates and their families enjoyed a wonderful, cool evening at Kahler’s Crab Deck in Rosedale, MD at the annual CMS Crab Feast held on September 10, 2009. CMS Passes JCAHO Requirements for 2010!

On December 21, 2009, Patricia Mounce, MS, RN, a surveyor for the JCAHO Health Care Staffing Division, conducted the required bi-annual audit to collect data necessary for the recertification process. CMS Partners with Vendor Manager & Union Memorial Hospital

Union Memorial Hospital is currently outsourcing the management of its use of supplemental agency personnel to the vendor management division of Nursefinders. CMS has partnered with UMH and Nursefinders to continue to provide uninterrupted staffing support for the hospital. All CMS associates may continue to book shifts at Union Memorial as usual. More...
