& help us support NAMI and the Baltimore Orioles!
Come on out on May 16th to help CMS support the National Alliance of Mental Illness and our Orioles! The O's will be playing the Angels at 7:05p and we are getting together a group to enjoy the bleacher section for the game. We will also be participating in a Walk that morning in the Inner Harbor at 11:00 followed by a lunch/happy hour leading up to the game at Mother's. Proceeds from the walk, the lunch/happy hour, and O's ticket sales will be donated to NAMI.

'Land' celebrates her 2nd anniversary with CMS . . .
All of us here at CMS extend a warm congratulations and appreciation to our Finance Specialist, Katelin, for two years of dedicated service. Our payroll accuracy is due to her dedication and diligence, so be extra nice since she is the one who signs your checks! The next time you speak with Katelin, ask her how she got the special nickname of 'Land' AKA 'Lando' – it’s a great story! Kudos, Katelin!

CMS Continues to Diversify!
Physician, CRNA, CRNP, and PA requests are increasing . . .
As we continue to diversify our service offering to our facility partners, we are receiving more and more requests for physicians, physician extender roles, and CRNAs. Additionally, we are looking for strong clinical ambassadors who would partner with us to help launch these new divisions of our organization, both in gaining new clients and also recommending strong clinicians to fill these needs. Please spread the word to your network of colleagues and let us know if anyone would be interested. Current needs for Physicians in particular are posted in our current contracts listing. Thank you!
CMS 7 Springs Ski Trip, March 2015
More than 40 CMS employees, friends and families traveled to Seven Springs Ski Resort in Champion, PA the first weekend in March. Fresh snow created excellent conditions for skiers and snowboarders alike. Everyone enjoyed our ski-in ski-out accommodations right at the base of the mountain. The newly refurbished rooms were great! Both mountain view and cuisine in the slope side restaurant were outstanding. And the snow tubing was a blast!The entire group has already requested to return again next year, so mark your calendars now for March 3-6 2016! CMS enhances partnership with GBMC
In an effort to increase services levels and streamline communication, CMS will be working directly with Greater Baltimore Medical Center for the provision of temporary nursing staff. We are also offering increased pay rates for all placements at GBMC to increase our ability to meet their staffing needs. Travel and local contract healthcare clinicians are empowered to take any assignment that is offered to them though the agency of their choice. Many agencies will present candidates to positions without first conferring with the candidate, and then suggest that since they presented you, your only option is to accept the assignment through them.
